I find it so hard these days to talk to the ones I want to talk to and vice versa for the ones that don’t want to talk to me.

Birds & The Bees Of Biking and TP’s IU

Those damn sandtraps! I tell you I was on the path of destruction
when I clipped my front brake at that junction infront of the SUK
building filled with sand from the flood yesterday. As sure as hell, I
locked the tyres and took a rough fall immediately after, and there she
goes, my bike gets raped of her accident-free virginity.. Luckily it
wasn’t a Monster or the Strada! took major scratches at my left elbow
and right knee whilst my right elbow just got some pokes here and there
and my glove got the best of all. Though it’s still alright, I’ll have
to change soon, I can already feel the draft when using the left glove
compared to the right one. I remember my uncle telling me about his
first time falling off his Suzy, he says it’s because he was thinking
of something else.. I should’ve asked him if was it because of a girl?
He was in love with my aunt Kelly then, just that she didn’t like bikes
so he kept getting turned down :P

Well, my cover set’s got two scars now and my shoes and pants are
also ripped which calls for a new pair! But before that, I’d like to
remind all you ignorant noobs out there, this is exactly why I wear
gloves and sometimes a jacket. My pants has three holes at the puncture
part and my knee is badly ripped, imagine if I were wearing my usual
shorts? Busted knee confirmed, what about my elbow? I was wearing short
sleeves then and you can see my progress later as I upload the picture
of the scratches. You choose really, do you want your dignity or
safety? Why would someone actually want to show off with an RM40 glove?
I’ve seen people riding bicycles wearing helmets, gloves, knee sliders
(don’t ask me for what lah, motorcyclists also rarely wear them :P) and
I don’t call him a show off. Infact, he’s a lot smarter than all of you
who claim we are showing off. But it’s alright, I’m cool with it, I’ll
just let you take a fall of your own and then we’ll see who’s the one
freaked out about wearing gloves while riding to the mini market to get
a carton of milk. ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR WHEN RIDING! and on a
side note, always keep your mouth shut when you’re not. As "some
idiots" would say, just wait for your day.

Two days before that there was major flood and me and Adrian got
caught in one of the flash floods by the Section 7 lake and it was
HELL! I thought it wasn’t so deep so I kept on going and the next thing
I know water’s in the bay and it feels like my clutch plate slipped and
the bike won’t budge! Just my luck the exhaust tip was still above the
water, or else I wouldn’t even go through that accident yesterday!
Luckily it’s a real keeper and the bike survived, eventually pulling
away but now I still feel like the plate is a bit wet and slips alot
especially during accelerating from a complete stop. Bet the belting
would also come off if I floored the gas haha!

So, after I got treated at DEMC, I had to rush off to the train station to pick up Irfan to go to Petaling Garden Girls School’s IU Day which we were already 45 minutes late for. I just couldn’t help it that we took one wrong turn and we went all around PJ in the damn rain instead of arriving there only 1 hour late and being able to catch all their acts. Nothing much though, just a couple of dances. No wait, let me rephrase that, there a LOT of dances. People say the girls from this school are hot, but I think that’s sort of an overrated statement. The emcee had this guy factor in her face, no offence! But yeah, just a little. Very little lah! The BODs weren’t interested in meeting any of us also, so we just left. Don’t need to mention about them also, they were ’shoo-ing’ all of us (the people who came) out from the hall and the school due to some "security" reasons and the fact that it’s a girls school. So we had WTFs ringing in our heads for sure, I mean it’s not like we were going to rape the students or anything? And besides, there were better looking visitors than the hosts themselves! Me anf Irfan paid RM7 to see 2 and a half dances, so I’m pretty upset about that, arriving late and all but hey, it’s our fault anyway. Petaling is so hectic these days, it’s hard to pass traffic if you we’re the state governer.

I met some guys from BBBS. Now, before I tell about that, did you know that there was a Bukit Bintang Boys School? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, just when you thought the BBGS tale couldn’t have gotten any corny-er, there’s a boys version of it too! Haha, no, I’m just kidding, BBBS has no relation to BBGS (now known as SBU the unisex school) and they’re located near Section 9, PJ. They seemed like punks, but we’re actually very nice and quite nerdy. Just the type of people we’re interested in meeting! lol! They’re having an IU day soon in March, looking forward to catching that one! Other than BBBS, I don’t think we met anyone else?..

Looking Good

Well, indeed this year’s debate team is, overall, better than last year’s. We’ve won rounds 1 and 2 of the Dato’ Wira Cup (compared to losing round 1 last year) with Aysha, Fatin and Syaheera on the pad. Me and Sara filled in as subs (subs are the coolest) but actually we were underbriefed for the second round. Yeah, I”ll give it to you straight, we really thought we were going in in the second round. But hey it’s alright, it’s nice seeing juniors trash people elder than them. Bukit Jelutong came with FaisalTheMegatClone, Megan and Tan during the Corporal Punishment debate and they lost eventhough they we’re on the affirmitive side. I don’t see being on the negative side as a pro in this motion, but we won anyway! Aysha got Tan during her POI interjection,

Tan : … parents should be responsible for taking care of their children and…
*POI*
Aysha : So why aren’t parents responsible for caning their children then since you say they *are* responsible for them?
Tan : There are reasons as to why the government allows discipline teachers to cane students..
Aysha :
(In a seperate POI attempt) What are the reasons then?
Tan : Denied.

LOL! I could have sworn me and Sara we’re snickering devilishly at the corner at this dude, daring to answer a POI that way :P Well, Fatin rejected all of her POIs and we were worried we might lose because of that, because other than good english, BJ had very little solid points. Plus Faisal was quite rude with his facial impression, excessive use of the words misled and opponents and ‘dog chasing tail’ statement, and Megan with her standing on the bench case. Megan was the best speaker.

So we left for Section 7 later in the afternoon, somehow I knew Syaheera and Fatin were going to push for a double win in a day for their first debates, they chose to go in and Fatin dropped half way. Sort of like the Adel case where he had many many points and much confidence in him but about 3 minutes into his speech he jerked and gave a very unpleasant ending and went to his seat. We did lose. Megat can agree with me. Thankfully though, Section 7 chose the Negative side of Proficiency in English which was the side that had little advantage, AND they couldn’t understand Aysha’s point right. We would have lost if they understood what Aysha meant with the saree’s in China? and water bottle examples. They kept on going on and on about it saying it doesn’t make sense when it’s merely an example! So yeah, I met lots of old friends at Section 7, including Kaamesh the humorous prefect and JazliTheShort.

All in all, I think the trio did a splendid job especially in round 2, Syaheera was very very confident and clear with her rebutal and Aysha had rock solid points and POIs. Fatin, well, I don’t really know why she gagged but she had some good points too, if only she could have been a bit clearer. Syaheera, I’m assuming is now the most famous debater in SMKSSAAS being the first and only one to win two debates in a day as a 3rd speaker and it’s her first time, so much props to ya and if I may say so myself, Ezra couldn’t have done a better job.

But, as a final note, if you want to be famous in a debate team, apply to be a SUB. and Aysha likes bum-bums. That’s buttocks by the way, according to the Divanesh Advance Learner’s Dictionary.

Pun intended. Teachers always trip about the whole concept of Valentines Day, when will they understand that Valentine’s Day isn’t just about boyfriends and girlfriends making out in a secluded corner overshadowing a bouquet of flowers and an opened box of chocolates from 2 hours earlier. Ah, well, I’m tied up with debates. Tomorrow we got a plan for a special somebody! It *should* be awesome pulling an early april fool’s on Valentines Day. What can I say, we’re all evil somehow =D

Somebody..
