Like last time on geckoandee.com, every year the blog grew I’d have a birthday party for it at a top notch club in KL, invite local celebrities and have full press coverage for it.
NOT! Actually I’d just make an announcement that the blog’s now proudly one year older, and publish some statistics of the blog. Since Friendster blog is this cruel free service that doesn’t allow you to view important things like statistics and counters unless you pay USD4.95 per month, I can only share with you this. From the bandwidth usage, I think it’s a good guess that about 200 (unique) people have been to my blog since day one. That’s really sad honestly. Not that it’s anything, but stats on Blogger was close to 10 times this, which goes to show how boring Friendster Blogs is not allowing blogs to be cached by search engines so that people can search for your blog using search engines like Google and Yahoo.
Kinda sad to think about it because I was really upset at Blogger last time, and I was determined to move to MovableType and used Friendster Blogs as a temporary blogging solution, but now got lazy and stuck to it anyway. Darn!
