P.O.I.! : Hmm, this entry got me thinking, if I didn’t do my homework, I wouldn’t get myself involved in an accident. Does that mean that if I don’t <do somehing good>, I wouldn’t <get something bad>… (insert joke here)
————————————————————————————————————–
Sometimes in life I question my luck quite thoroughly. Everytime I gamble at my cousin’s house during Chinese New Year (oh come on who doesn’t), I lose more than I can win. Everytime I’m in a car, when we reach a stop light junction sure will be red. Everytime! I buy a computer part, there’s always something wrong with it. EVERYTIME I ask for no chili, those DAMNED kitchen people put more chili than I can handle. Well, back to the subject, I was wondering about really how dangerous riding on a bike really is when my mom was telling to to just drive a car and forget about bikes..
Go figure, that night I slept late doing my additional mathematics homework and woke up damn tired in the morning so hitched a ride with my dad to school instead of riding like how I always do and found myself in a situation when it’s going back time. I know the intial plan was to take a bus, cab, train bla bla bla or anything for that matter that’s NOT dangerous but I was still damn tired, so I asked Adib for a ride home on his scooter.
Yeap, it was still a virgin coming in at 1960KMs on the trip meter, and as we headed home I felt this strange surge through my body to not follow his lean when he’s making a corner, and then some. I noticed that instead of taking the usual route he was taking a long route and I was already shivering then since his bike is so darn small and the tyres felt like they were going to break anytime (am I that heavy?).. Well when we were almost home, we came to good old sandtrap turn and I was looking out for him making sure he wouldn’t pull on the front brakes but then the next thing I knew….
*BOOM*
Remember how in February I dropped at the same place only I was on my bike? I’m on the ground, there’s blood everywhere and my elbow and knee was busted, only this time it was busted ‘bad’. I hope the chap’s alright though, he don’t deserve to take it hard like that, same goes for his bike but I mean I’m in a bloodwash myself and I now only have 1 school pants left.. You know what they say right, boys need scars to grow. Hell, even when I was leaving the medical centre, the doctor said these exact words. *In a Barney-the-purple-dinosaur tone* Well, see you again next month!.. KNNCCB! I’m in pain here and you’re trying to crack funny jokes, blardy asswipe. Damn hard price to pay for riding pillion, in my opinion, but
don’t that sound like dejavu to you? don’t it?
