Anatomy Of A Stupid.

So this is what we worked for, eh?

Wahlau. I can smell roses in the air in the middle of a trash dump, and I can feel the softness of the humidity right now when it’s 11pm at night. After a total of 12 whole years of schooling, this is what I get in return. And it’s worth every second of it, baby!

SPM’s not really over, I still have my economy paper next week but taking into equation that economy is a paper I’m ‘mildly good at’, yeah it’s literally over. Like how the scientists who take architectural drawing will, on the day biology finish say "it’s over, just not officially over." Bla bla bla ding dong bang around here and there and so long high school, and hello college.

It’s amazing how most of the people I ask don’t know what they want to do after school. I don’t mean smart ones lar, they will definetly be doing matriculation and then doing something like medicine or another one of those 5 year olds’ ambitions. This isn’t a diss, mind you. How many of those cute pint sized pupils have any other ambition other than being a doctor, engineer, lawyer, Superman, Batman, etc. Hell, even I wanted to be a doctor then. But you know shit’s getting old when I say my ambition is to be a "somebody".

Carrying on. Not many people know this, but I like to cook. No really, you can stop laughing now. I may be extraordinarily lazy but if it’s cooking, let’s just say the aroma keeps me going. As much as it sucks to wear a hat that looks like an upside down skirt, this seems to be finally coming to life. The idea of being a chef that is. It’s cool that there’s a couple of friends who want to do the same thing, since if I blow my kitchen up then I can just roll the carpets and change camp. So this is what it takes to be a chef.

1st - Do a 2 + 1 in college, take culinary and kitchen management.
2nd - Further 3 years to a U, take culinary arts.
3rd - Work with a hotel, build yourself up from sous chef right up to executive chef, 5 years plus should do the job.
4th - Open up your own mamak joint!

I’m just kidding ya on the 4th suggestion, unless your idea of being a boss is sitting at the cashier and watching live football 24 hours of the day.

So really, there’s barely any subjects that I learn in school that will have a relation to my career of choice, but as everyone know SPM is the stepping stone to furthering studies. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not crucial, and it definetly doesn’t mean that you don’t have to plan your future properly, rather than just leaving it to fate to bring you where you want. My personal opinion.

Why you ask? Have you ever noticed how the people who were not so bright in school then, are staggeringly successful now? and that when young dreamed of being a lawyer, but later ends up as a gangster?  Crucial.. very crucial indeed.

Laundry calls. But good luck to you guys, though we may not meet again. (*because I’m selected for that stoopid NS which runs during the time the results are out). I wish for the best for all of you.

When you did something that you hope wouldn’t work, and it works, but only against you

Trust me, I really really didn’t want to do this entry because I know it’s definetly going to stir something up because apparently I live amongst a hyper sensitive crowd, but I think the world is rapidly growing and every day there’s more and more smart people around. Bear with me..

There’s this new trend going around with all the book worms which me and Adrian, well, have realized a long time ago but it just made us tulan today la. My presumptious conclusion would be either they like to stick their own clique only or they just got their heads too stuffed in the books until there’s no space to breath for conversations.

Every single damn time I try to talk to a smart guy or girl, I always end up making myself blush, due to the response I get from them, what more when you try to crack jokes and it doesn’t work. Times 10. I say something, make a request in specific and the first response I get it either "huh?" or they give me the blurred look. Then I repeat my request, then they say "what?" and/or they give me a blurred and annoyed look. By now, most of us would give up and tell them to go… do what I wouldn’t want them to do, so! I make myself extra clear this time and say..

Me : Can you please not carry all your books around, you’re smart enough!
Smart dude : Oh..

Standard conversation

Me : she looks like a guy, no?
Smart dude : huh?
Me : she looks like a guy, no??
Smart dude : what?
Me : SHE LOOKS LIKE A DUDE NO.
Smart dude : Ohh…

A joke

Me : I love your shoes, they’re very… different!
Smart dude : huh?
Me : … I love your shoes, they’re very different! *smiles*
Smart dude : what??  *annoyed face*
Me : I SAID I LIKE YOUR SHOES THEY’RE DIFFERENT! *more annoyed than you face*
Smart dude : *1/3 of a smile* Ohh..

TULAN!!!!!!!!!!

You guys are supposed to be the one having a tough time talking to the less smarter dudes like me la? not the other way around! So, before a conversation between you and another person is engaged and you know you’re frickin’ smart, please be a tad more observent and bump up the conversing because even panda porn is more interesting as it is now.

Teasers.

Every once in a while there comes a moment where I would eventually get bored of studying or watching TV or going to the toilet so many times that I fire up Photoshop, go through photos that I took for post-processing, and share it with the rest of the world if it attracts my preference.

That moment is here, now.

So here’s some teasers from the last day of school, these are just the ones that I think look slightly out of the ordinary for some subjective reason.

One of those things you can only find in SSAAS.

Umar. Who doesn’t know him?

Adrian signing Syuhada’s book.

Yet another guy everyone knows.

Beaute’ minus the plaster.

Seh Ming’s unpredictable face - Volume 2

The trend now is for me to say ‘Hot Stuff’.

This is love?

Priceless.

My take on an ‘it’s-going-to-be-okay’ moment.

Innocenties.

If I added more it wouldn’t really be a teaser now would it? There’s so many more other photos that I’d love to put up but you know how the saying ’save the best for last’ goes =)

Senangest Paper of Malaysia

Easy for you to say when you’re in the smartest class of the whole school, Dyra.

This "senang" paper is my excuse for being on hiatus until a minimum of early next month. I don’t know how I found time to type this up, but good luck to all for the exams that start as early as this Wednesday. Thanks to all who wished me, and for those who SMSed me without stating their names, please do, and if you don’t, thanks anyway la. You can buy leaked questions from any Klang secondary school student, because they are very smart hahaha (backing up Delta & Johan).
